I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The rooms were beautifully decorated, very clean, and spacious, although there was a bit of an echo due to the tall ceilings. The location was fantastic, situated between the beach/boardwalk area of Santa Cruz and the downtown shops, making it ideal for walking to nearby destinations.
My stay at the hotel was fantastic! The rooms were spacious, very clean, and beautifully decorated with a cozy gas fireplace, a good-sized TV, and a large bath with a walk-in shower. The bed was extremely comfortable, but it was missing a refrigerator, which was a bit inconveniencing. The tall ceilings caused a slight echo, but nothing major to worry about.
The hotel offers spacious and beautifully decorated rooms with high ceilings and an awesome electric fireplace. While the request for a brighter room for a longer stay was declined, the ambiance might feel a bit too warm at times. The location is excellent, within walking distance to downtown, the beach, and various attractions. The dining experience could use more variety to cater to different preferences, but it's worth the value.
